Working with Russ of the poker room at the Amon Plaza Bill at the Sportsmens Lodge will hold a 1 table poker tournament every Friday & Sunday at 1PM Local Time. Game is to be held in the courtyard with their new regulation sized table. Buy in with $7.00 fee for the dealers First 10 players to show up and pay with first prize distributed 70% and 30% I had to get out of MIA and clear my head what better way to enjoy CR... Weather is gorgeous today. Hope to see everyone tomorrow at the tourney, even if your not playing stop by and say hello. |

107.00 Buy in with $100.00 going to the prize pool. I guess that means that Russ is getting paid for this taking his $7 just as he does at the Paradiso? Is he now extending his pocket to the SL? Will he also be taking his % cut for each pool? We have had games at the SL before with the entire pool going to the players and then the dealers are tipped by the players. |

my understanding is his fee is the $7 only. 1000 goes to prize pool. This is very reasonable, most tourneys have 10% fee structures. BKTUNA I am never going home |

Unless he takes a cut out of the pool I think seven bucks is cheap. I belive he hopes to make money after the tourney with a cash game. Hope it works out. If you know enough players in town to do this on your own great I will be at the SL march 9 and would love to play. |

As far as I know the 100+7 format works the standard way. $100 goes into the pool and the $7 is for the house (Russ and Bill). I guess they'll figure out how to split the $70 between them. Single table shootout, 10 players, $1000 pool, 70%-30% top 2 payouts, I'll play in May, could use some extra cash.

Well This is how it went 
Tourney started at 1:05 only 7 of us there Russ Bill VegasBob Grahme from (Paradiso Casino) LJD33 Me GMAN CRT Guy sorry forgot his name $100.00 buy in $7.00 for the house directly to the two Dealers nobody took a cut (RUSS BILL) 1st Place Grahme 490.00 2nd Place Russ 210.00 Grahme had a few more chips they chopped the pot $400.00 / $300.00 ----------- Took 1 hour 10 minutes so we had a second Tourney.. Me & Vegas Bob were knocked out to 4 card flushes when we both were made already on the turn with our own flushes all in the 1st 6 hands so I don't know who won Tourney 2. ----------- Buy them giving the $70.00 to the dealers they are no making money on the game, but trying to entice the players of course (Russ to go to the Paradiso to play in the future)... ----- I think this will be very nice addition to give us CRT boys an alternate to do I think they will probabl not in the future quote pricing as it may have some legal ramifications with, but whatever the "Friendly Game" pot is its 70% 30% split 1st two places. A nice afternoon was enjoyed by all though.... NOTE NICE NICE NICE talent in the Del Rey around 430PM Saw BuzzFla, VB, Luck4unme, BKTuna, just to name a few..
