I am coming to CR in March and after an overnight at DR, I am heading to Playa Carrillo, Gunamar Resort. Can anyone provide any info on this or any other areas in the Guancastle Area. Looking for watering holes with Chicas. |

If Playa Carrillo is next to Samara...there aren't any 'chica bars' that I know of. Two years ago I can guarantee you that there were not any. From Carrillo you can drive back into Nicoya and drive up to Tamarindo/Flamingo. (about 2 hours) Carrillo is really really beautiful and perhaps just as boring if you are looking for any kind of action. Carrillo is is about ten minutes from Samara and there is 'some' life there....but is mostly local, low key stuff. If you don't expect mucho you won't be disappointed. |
