Just curious. I'm interested in pushing my horizons beyond mongering, and since I'm there for 5 days (11/24 to 11/29) why not golf? i figure lessons and fees will be signifcantly less than in the states....

I've heard good things about the Valle del Sol course in Santa Ana. I'm also interested in hearing about golf courses from our 'brothers'. I'll be there in January and will get outside of the gulch and hit the links.

hey,

I played golf every morning when I was in CR. I arranged for a van to pick me up at HDR at 900am. The driver took me to valle del sol. One member of our party had prearranged tee times every day. The golf including cart was $82.27. The course was fine and the condition was fine. We ate lunch and drank a few beers at the outdoor clubhouse next to the pro shop. Lunch was cheap and delicious (get the burgers). The driver picked us up at the appointed time, took us back to HDR. Thats when i left my clubs in the lobby, found a hot looking ticas and told her that I needed to be cleaned up. Up we went and una mas. in short, golf in cr is a good way to break up the day for later mongering activities. cheers.

here's a good website for golf at Valle del Sol, I'm hoping to play there on 1/31. Feel free to contact me if interested in playing then...

If you're an old hand at mongering, but new to golf, a piece of advice...stay OFF the ball washer, as you'll get hurt!
