AHOY , to all and any sailors, landlocked swabies, fishermen [other than pink snapper], beachbums and mermaid fuckers, Greetings!!!

Getting tired of dodging Hurricanes , one after another, in the Carib Sea!!

Need info on suitable safe harbor on Carib side of Costa Rica to bring my floating party boat 53ft, 9 ft draft . Not necessarily a full service marina, but somewhere secure and safe. Puerto Limon sucks---dirty , full of crime, narcotraficantes who would hijack ,or pirate my boat the first night.
When I eventually get there, will need workers for boat maintenance and crew to help in continuing the 'Party at Sea' with Ticas ,Nicas , Colombianas, etc instead of the Gringas up till now.

Pura Vida a la Mare :)

Just the thought of partying on that thing gets me excited. Sorry I am no help in your post, but I had to respond.

Best of luck my friend,

Dman

Would suggest Cuauhita on the Caribbean side...couple hours south of Limon towards Panamanian border. Best beaches in CR. Not sure about the marina situation there, but worse case scenario your anchor probably works. Have the chicas row you to shore in a dinghy full of cold ones. Being a former boater in Michigan, and future one in CR...would be glad to crew...and probably can bring some eye candy along also. Whens the party?

Lucky man. Sailed often on the Cheasepeake Bay up to the mid 90's. Was a chef for 27 yrs on land and did all the cooking on a 52 ft Irwin at sea. Love to hook up with you sometime.
