Was in CR between 18th June till 2 days ago.

Southern Costa Rica , from Golfito to Paso Canoa- the border the road conditions were generally good. There were still a few big pot holes but the condition was way better than say half a year ago.

Excellent weather.... the ticos said their Indian Summer came early this year. During the past weeks, I only experienced ocassional heavy showers in the southern zone, and a few highly humid days near the end of my trip.
FWIW, I shall time my next mid year visit with CR's Indian Summer.

BTW road to Pavones was in great shape. A few cabinas/soda there seem to be expanding, more touristo buying up lote along the hill behind the beach, and I am only using the term "beach " loosely here, where that La Perch bar and grill is also located.... other than that, same old crowd , and same old.
