We need at least 2 more guys for the trip so it won't be super expensive. The price per day from San Jose per person is $265 includes breakfast and lunch. Check out the details @ http://www.jdwatersports.com/sportfishing.htm
Please let us know. That is a good deal and maybe we can get some bait girls to go along with.

This is interesting.
A VIP has been a member of CRT for 10 months and with his first post he's asking guys to join him and someone else no one knows for fishing in Jaco for $265.

Oh, be sure and get back to him ASAP since the trip is in 9 days!
Quite an introduction.

Gotta love it!

Location: Where Am I ???
It seems that Braxton is convinced that he's landed a good deal, so I didn't want to rain on his parade. But $265 per person....and the company will make sure that there are 6 anglers on that boat.... whether you know them or not. That's $1,600 for a day, plus a customary gratuity. Then, you add in another $65 per chica (bait girls), and you've got a $2,000 day of fishing. Maybe it's me, but I don't think it's that great of a deal......

Braxton,
I'll be the 2nd one to welcome you to the board, but IMHO, you're not getting that great of a deal. There are a ton of Sportfishing Charter companies in CR. You can find several recommendations on this board, and tons more companies on the internet. Plus, just about any hotel can set you up with a fishing charter, spur of the moment. And (word on the street is) it shouldn't cost you $2,000. Especially during the off-season. But, what do I know......
YMMV.

Whatever you do, good luck and have fun.
Mucho Gusto
