While staying in Jaco we plan to take a trip one day to the croc bridge. Does anyone have the milage between the two and what other places are there to visit that would be good entertainment: bars, clubs, or anything of interest |

Sorry oldtimer, I can not remember the distance. What I can remember is that I know two people that have had things stolen out of their car/van while visiting the crocs. Since it is a very short walk from the side of the road where you park to the bridge a lot of people forget to lock their doors or roll their windows all the way up. Fortunately, nothing important was stolen in either case (one thief got away with a bag of dirty running clothes), but they were just lucky. |

Its not very far probly like 20 25 min from Jaco. You can take the crocidile man tour im pretty sure they will pick you up at your hotel. If your staying in Jaco just dont bring anything of value that you cant carry with you. SD |

I don't know where, but I heard from a reliable source that there is a Tico whorehouse out in Tarcoles, which is where the bridge is. Gotta think it might be scary or either some country girls. |

You never know what might happen when you walk into a bar in CR in the middle of nowhere. I even got lucky at Pavones and im telling you that place is way off the beaten path. SD |

SD A little off topic, but I walked into a bar in Davis, West Virginia, one Saturday night, hooked up with a local lady (who suprisingly still had most of her own teeth remaining) and wound up phucking the better part of two days away before moving on to my ultimate destination, Wheeling WV. I guess not only in Costa Rica, huh? |

Park by the police shack on the south side of the bridge (added about 3 years ago, I don't know if it's still manned). |

I swear rental cars in CR should come with a pitbull you can leave in it when surfing or sightseeing. SD |

3rdworld- Whore house is the orange bar south of Tarcoles on the hill, just north of the gas station. It is called Chesperitos(sp), but I call it Desperitos, as the talent there is hit or miss. Many dominicanas and a few ticas--not the A-team, but very reasonably priced. Thru the years, I have picked up a few beauties there. |

Thanks Diablo, I'm gonna track that down. Thought maybe it was just a myth. Should be interesting. |

I rode a moped to the crock bridge from jaco in about 45 minutes. How far south from the bride is the fun house. |

Just a guess, but it might be 1/2 mile south of Steve & Lisa's Restaurant on the opposite side of the road up on a little hill. Bright orange. Doesn't open until 4 ish |

Hey D , shine some light on the quality of the beauty there , will ya ? I have been to quite a few puta bars outside and way south of SJO, local brew seem to be BBW's for the majority, lots of pretty faces though. Once in a while you'll run into some import from Dom Republic or Panama, leaner looking. Just don't expect the same DR quality when venture out of SJO. The taste tends to be heavy on the meatier in smaller towns. |

DZ- Quality is definately hit or miss. I wouldn't make it a destination stop, but whenever I'm by there with extra time I check it out. The first one I did there 6 years ago was the best, cute little Dominicana that worked for $15 dollars a load--took her home and she got me for $75 by the time sun came up. Since that time, none have compared, but many times there will be at least one dominicana that is doable with a few ticas thown in. Not a big selection, usually 4-6 chicas, and there have been many times that I just had a few drinks and left. Buena suerte. |
