Are there any other Spas like (Tabacon Springs Spa) a little closer to San Jose ? I've done the searches and all I keep finding are references to Tabacon. Gracias |

EL, There is a hotel in Orosi Valley called the Hotel Rio Perlas and Spa that has hot springs. I don't know if you can you can use the facilities on a day basis or if you have to be a guest in the hotel. There are also some public baths in the town of Orosi. |

Found the following info on hot springs in the Orosi Valley. Balneario de Aguas Termales (533-2156) Thermal pools, bar, restaurant & recreation area. $2.00. 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Balneario Los Patios (533-3009) four hot pools, two cold, picnic area & restaurant. $1.00. 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, closed Mondays Have never been to either so can not comment on them. Maybe someone else can help. |
