Yeah, I only liked one straight play last week, and it was on Buffalo. I bet them for real at +3 -115. However, in this contest
they were at +2.5, and the difference between 2.5 and 3 is HUGE in the NFL, so I passed. I also bet one teaser pick (2 teams,
6 points, like always) on Buffalo/Seattle which I also won. However, there have been plays that I have passed on in this contest
due to an unfavorable line that wound up losing, so I am NOT making excuses. In fact, my winning percentage in this contest (57.4% -
35-26) is actually better than my actual winning percentage in regards to all of the NFL plays that I have made this season (all straight
plays and teasers) - which is 55.8% (48-38-2) so I can't complain. My hat goes off to Buzzfla for going 4-0 last week. However, there
is still one week left, and I will have picks this week (at least one, probably at least two). If I can end the season strong, I have a good
chance of getting the bronze medal.

I have some suggestions for next year:

I think there should be a minimum (60) to qualify but no maximum. This would give guys behind a chance to make 6 picks a week to try to catch up.
I like the idea of the top 5 players having to make x number of picks the last few weeks, maybe at least 2 picks in each of the last 4 weeks.

This was a good contest. I didn't get lucky like last year  , but congrats to the guys still in contention.

Agree. Everyone who participates and makes sufficient picks has an equal shot of being on top after week 14 or so. Why should the leaders be penalized and forced to pick games? Better solution is to pick better and be in one of the top slots so you watch everyone try and catch you.

I agree with ID . 14 weeks of games should be plenty. I vote to leave it the same as it has the last couple of years.

Leave it be
Why sould a guy be forced into making picks, and the last few weeks are very tough, the bookies got the line down at this point, lots of 1/2 in the spreads
Why sould I be forced to stick my neck out when I do not what to

The past two years the pool has worked fine, change the rules for next year (if there is one?) and then you open the door for more changes

This is a free deal

Thanks again to Orange and BK (for posting the lines on Tues :D :P )

As for my luck... hanks guide to winning football picks for fun and Profit is availible on E-Bay :D Cheap.. you will need a monkey, parrot, and a few gold fish

Good luck Happy New Year and we will see how this all play out in the next few day

BTW I donate 100% of my winnings to The Single Moms Foundation of Costa Rica
AKA TSMCR
