All I can say is that the averages work out in the long run and the figures I posted about my stats were taken right off my history sheet. Yesterdays game for Maryland my figures calculated a score of 138.9390065. The Vegas line was 139 so pretty close on that one. Had a late start for today but only a few games. Here are my figures for todays games. OVER Fordham 135 136.3489823 OVER Pacific 146 149.0088082 UNDER Middle Tennessee St. 133 131.9142865 UNDER Iowa 162 157.6949911 UNDER Florida State 158.5 158.1895216 UNDER St. Marys (CA) 140 133.445355 UNDER Loyola-Marymount 153.5 149.1093876 |

all I can say is that if you start talking about hitting 70% and percentages like that then you are full of sh*t. I lived in Vegas and worked in Casinos for 7 years. Handicapping is very very difficult to do over a long term basis. I used to enter handicapping contest and do reasonably well but even the winners of the contest were in the low 60% range over a season. Whenever blowhards like you come on here and brag brag brag I just laugh. Hopefully nobody is ignorant enough to bet your garbage picks. However, I hope you just keep posting your top 5-7 picks over time so you can expose yourself as a bragadocuious blowhard you really are. |

28% and 50% for 2 weeks averages out to 39% in my book! Maybe your magic formula tells you something different. Don't quit your day job! |

FWIW: our ace 74.3% winning handicapper "Cubby" was 2-3 this past weekend. Bringing his total for the past month to 4-11 with two ties or pushes. That is about 36.3%. If you were to go to the zoo near the SL and let a Chmpanzee pick the games for you would probably do better than Cubby. |

Just stumbled upon this Topic and, damn, you guys are mean! Seems as though one guy's [Cubby] commercial turned into a full-blown Pi$$ing Contest. I'm usually curious to hear other gamblers' results relative to my own. NO, my results are not DOCUMENTED, so you have no good reason to believe me. That's OK...no problem. I'm just a gambler who does his own homework & wins a lot more than he loses. And, NO, I have no desire to tout or have a website advising others. Most "Professionals" look down on me because I don't play the game like they think I should...& I don't care. We're all different. I bet NFL & NBA selectively starting @ second half of the season using free stats from covers.com to determine picks. Don't bet every game & NEVER bet college games. Very tight...Less effort...Less risk...Not very exciting. For excitement I can book a SJO or MED trip. Some might notice that I don't even qualify for Gamblers Anonymous membership since I don't gamble. Rule #1 = Don't lose $$ Rule #2 = Make $$ El Gringo Loco |
