Well I'm heading down next week and may get back in touch with my lesbian, :I mean feminine side and get my annual manicure. Last year was at Nia's Beauty Parlor in the Holiday Inn. The only problem is there's no privacy and all the CRT guys walking by to ZB can see you in the window getting your nails done and point & make faces- it's so embarrassing

besides I know there are cheaper places. I know many chicas go to the mall, but at happy hour a couple trips ago some CRT guy mentioned another place he went I think it was not far from the Pres. So where is it? Where do all you "fellas" get your nails done in SJO?

Well at the obvious risk of getting bashed again for being a flaming metrosexual (or worse), I have to post an update about a place and georgeous little Tica I just met, since I know a lot of guys actually do get manicures & pedicures (but will never admit it) and PM'd me about this topic when first posted.
Was walking back from ZB and directly kitty-corner (Southwest) from Nia's salon in the Holiday Inn is an art shop on the corner with many paintings, right next door(West) is a salon named "Albo Salon". It is actually
Albo Rosa Salon but I think it just says Albo and has a picture of a red rose on the sign. A pretty Tica said "Beunos Diaz" as I walked by so I stopped to chat

and next thing I know "Patricia" was giving me a 2500 colone manicure, thats 5 bucks(!) and I was there a good 30 minutes. I think that's less than half what Nia's charges and Patricia is an absolute doll and did a much better job. She also gave me a free spanish lesson

and said she cuts hair too. I'd pay more than that just to sit and talk with her, she is so sweet and I gave her a nice propina.
Go see her guys if you want a haircut or manicure, just try not to fall in love.
