yes, i forgot, we had paper drives too, even old issues of FOREIGN AFFAIRS!

usually one of the local businesses like the roofing company would let a gang of us use their truck.

those drives were mostly for the local scouts or church groups.

of course, at that age, we were unaware at how powerful, in the future, the INDIAN AND ARMENIAN LOBBYISTS would eventually become.
