Come clean
CCharlie, you started this thread, even though your original post had nothing to do with the title.
After your amigo
Chilimike puts you back on track with the thread's second post specifically asking about the "game in the corner" you respond:

Post subject: game in the corner
Bet with your head not over it. This goes for all things in life .Anything that seems to be offered for free will cost you dearly. If you ever go for some sort of get rich quick scheme and it fails look in the mirror for you are the one to blame. Never blame others for your short comings you had the chance to decide. The only way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it in your pocket. God bless you amigos, Ccharlie
After I and others have exposed it to be nothing more than a con game, you add:

Here is what I do when something like this happens to me. I go into the bathroom , look in the mirror and slap the person I see. I also cuss him out for being so stupid and make him promise never be such a fool again. Remember those people who took you in were only working . Their job is to shake you down. You have the choice to get involved or not. When you see this kind of thing walk away. It is like going for some high risk investment and when it fails blaming the person that sold you on it. Never do this , always blame the man in the mirror. The sooner a person learns this in life the better off they will be. Remember there is no fool like an old fool. So learn young. One thing is to make money and another is to try to keep it.
So, come clean, how much did they take you for?
I guess you are taking it with a healthy attitude, however you got played and I wouldn't let the players off the hook so easily.
For the record, I really do have a friend who was playing against my advice, and I like to think that he would have lost even more if I hadn't stepped in with my warnings and doubts about the game.
Also it's one thing to say yeah a fool and is money are soon parted and that the odds were stacked against him. Lesson learned, don't play the side bets that
Witling spoke of, the odds are really against you, however it's entirely another thing when there are no odds, that you are 100% going to lose. Yes, many people should avoid "high risk investments", they could lose everything, however they could gain alot, with big risk there should be the opportunity for big reward. Here there is no opportunity, it's purely a scam, "Those people" are not "only working", they are robbing people.
Thanks for starting this thread, however if you had been a little more forthcoming from the beginning you might have saved my friend some cash. Unless you really did want to talk about the slot machines and your $50 pickup.
