Hi, I hope I picked the right forum to post this in.

So, I am getting closer to actually moving to Costa Rica and have many questions about living there.

What I would like is if 3 or 4 folks that live there could send me a private message, if you are willing to correspond at length about a variety of topics centered around living in Costa Rica.

Don't worry I'll only ask 1 or 2 questions at a time.

I need to compile information on how a wide variety of things work there before I actually arrive with my belongings in hand.

You didn't mention if you've ever visited Costa Rica before. If you haven't, I would suggest you visit a few times before making such a big move.

Yes, I have been to Costa Rica, well, probably not as many times as many of you guys here have, but 12+ or so. I'd be open to having you send me a link to the post you are suggesting. I've read some good some bad about people moving to Costa Rica. I'm not expecting a 24 hour party or anything, but I am hoping to relax. I have many questions about the way things work there.
