I didn't want to participate but here goes: Miami just flat showed up and skunked Va Tech. Va Tech might actually be the better team- not sure. But what I see a lot every year is a team that gets on cruise control(everything works by and large) then they run into that team that brings an extra level that though they might not have had it all year or will a game later, they have it then- Miami brought it. If miami is really that good now, compared to first game of season, they'll spank fsu easily.

I'm so frustrated we didn't get that game on local cable.

The BCS is a joke. All of the stupid bowl games are ridiculous. They should have a playoff system like every other sport. At least this year we should have the two best teams playing for the national championship without controversy. USC and Texas...who do you like in that matchup?
I wonder what the point spread will be? USC by 4?

Just recently joined up. Great web site with a lot of interesting "profiles", stories and some tremendous advise. Guess I can't talk much. Here I am posting at 3 a/m and flipping back and forth while I play on line poker - WTF!

Now to the real story. There are pretenders and then there are contenders. I am an original SoCal guy. You grew up either loving USC or UCLA. Whiechever one you loved you hated the other. A lot of bad years up until recently for my Men of Troy. My question is how can ANYONE think anything about anyone else having a legitimate shot but "SC this year? Quite possibly the best offense ever in college football, a vastly underated run defense and quite possibly the best co-ordinator in college football in Pete Carrol (Yes, he's coach as well as the defensive co-ordinator). No one today is better at making game time adjustments to stymie college offensives then Carrol. All this and going for an unprecedented third national championship in a row!!!!!

Just thought I would get my two cents in on something I actually know about (still spending a tremendous amount of time studying posts on what you guys already know about!). Looking forward at some point in meeting some of you. Again, great website and some fun sounding guys!
