You are absolutely right about one thing, I will be spending less time in CR. If it weren't for the Sportmen's & the CRT guys, I probably wouldn't return again, and not for a while anyway. IMHO, there are much better places than CR to monger. My next visit is to MDE in November, and then my plans as of now are for Peru, at the first of next year.

I'm usually pretty careful with my choice of words too. You could reverse the 2 clauses in that sentence and it would say essentially the same thing - that you weren't suggesting anything about other people's approach anymore than they were saying anything about yours. My point was NOT that YOU were suggesting anything about different approaches taken by others but that THEY weren't suggesting anything about your approach EITHER (anymore than you). And if they weren't suggesting anything at all, saying that they weren't suggesting anything anymore than you doesn't necessarily suggest that you were saying anything either. I still owe you guys a summary of Quito P4P but I don't have the energy right now. Hopefully, I've provided enough keywords that you can use in a searrch to find a lot of the info on your own. Just be assured that it exists and that there is more than enough inexpensive good quality P4P there to satisfy any guy who is going there primarily to enjoy its MANY nearby non-P4P attractions and some P4P to fill in around the edges. Guys whose primary focus is almost entirely P4P and who do other activities just to break it up a little probably WOULD be better off in Lima. If you look back to the original post you'll realize that this thread was never about guys like that or like Santa at all.

Thanks to all who answered especially Projilo with his wealth of information about what to expect from each country. I've decided to go with Costa Rica for my trip as I got excellent airfare and there are some regions left which I haven't explored (previous trip I made it to Jaco, Monteverde/Arenal areas, and the southern Caribbean. I plan on checking out Manuel Antonio NP & Corcovado NP this upcoming trip, and (since Corcovado's not far from Panama, maybe checking out the Chiriqui province of Panama -- David/Boquete for a day or two & Bocas Del Toro for 2-3 days). I'll probably limit my SJO visit to about 3 days, I'll post later in the "Roll Calls" section once I have my exact itinerary mapped out so I can arrange to meet whichever member may be down when I'm there. I enjoyed my last visit to CR enough to want to return a second time and comparing the total costs of everything with the benefits of a visit to each different country, I think it's the best place to visit until (as had been mentioned), I exhaust most of what there is to do there, which hasn't happened yet.

I know this is "too late the hero" but this is good information on the Quito P4P scene compiled by a Canadian friend of mine who spent a lot of time and leche in South America. He goes by the handle Tungurahua on ISG and is a most remarkable person. Anyway his abridged notes on North Quito, borrowed from ISG, are below. I am a mere conduit. Read and weep.

Quito Fuckclubs Update, Jan 4-2009: by Tungurahua
Introduction

While this compilation is my sweat and tears the initial footwork to find each ‘chongo’ (the local term) is not. I credit the discovery of each club to the individual who mentions it first in a post. When you find a great chica you can give silent thanks to that particular ISG member (name & post in parenthesis after each club). My way of giving kudos to the explorers!

In this abridged report only the "North" chongos are discussed. If you want "South" and "Central" then either go to ISG or ask and I will post here. The section is subdivided by price.

The higher price places are nicer environments. The lower price places are of lesser quality. Contrary to chica expectations, however, there are some fantastic value plays in the lower price casas. If time, comfort and/or safety is of the essence the higher price value plays (i.e., $15 and $20) are your best bet.

At time of posting we have tried to make the info as relevant and helpful as possible. Prices and hours change, clubs and casas get temporarily shut down or go out of business. Casas sometimes close early if no chicos are present. The doormen may shut doors to entry thirty to sixty minutes prior to closing to wind down operations. Places charge a small entry fee in exchange for the usual one beer (rum, water, etc.).

Hours of operation: keep in mind these times are approximations. There are too many subjective variables to detail the exact time doors open each day for each club. A place open at 11am may have only one or two chicas on display until others arrive in the early afternoon, say 1-2-3pm. Likewise a 5-6pm opening is best hit at 7-8pm for optimal selection. Closing hours defined as “early morning” is subject to the number of male clientele present. As example for one club it can be 11pm on Mon, midnight on Tues-Wed, Thurs 1am, Fri 3am, Sat 12am, etc.

For purpose of optimal chica selection and to avoid disappointments you will find inserted the times I personally hit many chongos during the day or night. Examples include “optimal: anytime” for Cafe Rojo, “optimal: 4pm+” for VIP Paradise Women, “optimal: 9pm+” for 4033, etc.

There are eleven places open Sunday. In central there is Masajes Medellin (11am-9pm), VIP Paradise Women (12-10pm), Kahlua (12-9pm), 270 La N*na (11am-9pm). In the north Alondras and Marques de Sade are open (12-8pm). In the south along Avenida PV Maldonado there is Noches de Paris and Blondys (5pm to early morning). Along Av Mariscal Antonio Jose de Sucre is open Classico El Sud Del Marajha, Madona Night Club, and A-Club (2-11pm). My favorite place to hit on Sunday is Alondras and Marques de Sade, both clubs are beside one another. A couple hotties are usually present among twenty chicas but be warned these are (1) low-end fuckclubs and (2) the boys can get rowdy on weekends.

Friday is the big night out for many Quito males. If you join the crowds on Friday it is possible you will wait in line for a hot chica, wait in line for a room/fuck-closet and strictly get minimum time per ficha. Out of a seven-day-a-week mongering schedule Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are my favorite days, good chica selection without the blowout crowds of Friday.

The one ficha (i.e., ticket to Phuck) in the clubs usually gets you a 15-20 minute session with the girl of your choice. If she likes you the time can extend to 30 minutes (plus) without paying more. If she sticks to her guns about 1 ficha = 15 minutes and you need more time simply buy additional fichas (in advance or as the session goes on).

Stripshows can be seen in many chongos, more often on busier days & nights (Thurs-Sat). Most shows are tame by North America standards, though the sex show in Club 122 every night about 7pm is an event (at least once). In low end chongos the girls get $5 extra from the house for doing a stripshow. Since it is a voluntary action the more beautiful chicas tend to make their cash sexing instead of dancing. As many of the local boys do not have the cash for a Phuck they get to see some pu*sy for the price of a beer. With the possible exception of Nightcats, El Swing, Café Rojo or Kassandras I would not go out of my way to visit any chongo solely for its stripshows. Consider them a potential bonus feature while hunting for your ideal 650 to 2000 penny pu*sy.

To summarize the questions: is anal / BBBJ / BBFS / pictures / facials / takeout to a hotel / and-or other variations possible in Quito? Yes, they are all possible options. But everything depends on you talking to the chica. As options and prices are going to differ for each and every girl the rest is up to you and your negotiating skills. Some chicas will tell you to take your perversity elsewhere, others will welcome it -- for the right price. For those who like take-out (i.e., toda la noche, an all-nighter) some example prices are quoted under particular clubs.

Recommending a hotel: comfort, services, price. As each of us differs in what we expect from a hotel this is my take: there are more than a hundred hotels of all budgets clustered in central Quito and the Mariscal district. For your first day get a room. Any room in any hotel. Then use a couple hours to scope out another dozen hotels nearby. Find one that suits your desires and price. Visit, see and talk to the hotels in person. When you find one you like then change hotels. Or not. Then speedily run to your first chongo to tickle your pickle.

If you look like a gringo some chongos without posted prices, even some places with posted prices, will try to overcharge you on drinks and fichas. If you do not ask for your ficha change up front (eg: $10 bill on a $8 ficha = $2 change) chances are you may forget it or they may not give it to you at all (chica/house propina). A few members post it is advisable to bring small bills. This is smart advice for the gringo standouts who are ‘begging to be milked’ in the eyes of locals.

Regarding tips Ezinho says it best: "most locals don't tip anything." E adds: "My take on tipping is always start out low. If the girl thinks it's not enough you can always give her more. I found most girls were happy with a $1 tip, a few wanted more and I usually ended up giving in to their demand (especially if I wanted to Phuck them another day), but for the most part $1 shut them up. Sometimes even fifty cents worked."

During my first trip to Quito I averaged $2-5 to accumulate a nice photo collection. During my second trip I tipped nothing as I took few photos. Keep in mind with a $7 ficha the house gets $2 and the girl gets $5. $1 is thus a 20% tip and $5 is a 100% tip. You can do the math for the $6.50 to $20 options.

As per Hoof Hunter, post 1024, a legitimate massage parlour in Quito is at El Espectador 817 y Shyris, tel #246-0535, Spanish only. Directions are: "from the corner of Shyris and Naciones Unidos, in front of Quicentro, walk 2-3 blocks down Shyris in the direction of the Best Western, pass Campero and a Renault dealership, at that corner is Espectador, make left, cross over, look for 817. No signs, just knock. I believe hours are 10am-6pm, Mon-Sat. Small house/storefront with only 3 massage rooms and a living room to wait. Masajistas aren't the best looking but will do. $10 per massage (approx 1hr). HJ and BBBJ received, fingering and kissing allowed, for the happy ending, nothing more. Tips of $5 (no more) appreciated."

Comparing safety in Central, North and South Quito: excluding Centro Historico (Quito’s old town) central’s chongos are safest, most are on well-lit streets. So long as you stay aware, mindful of your immediate surroundings and what is coming down the street (punks, drunks, etc.), problems should be minimal to non-existent. One option is to pick up a small bottle of pepper-spray to carry in your hand while walking at night, available for $10-15 in outdoor shops in Gringolandia.

Locals say the south is more dangerous than the north and this is true in terms of neighborhoods. South Quito’s districts are poorer, less developed, more raw. But for us exclusive mongerers I think the north is more risky than the south. Northern chongos are scattered around poorly lit industrial streets, deserted at night except for the local boys hitting the fuckclubs. Southern chongos are concentrated along two well-lit, people and business populated streets. These streets, PV Maldonado and Mariscal Sucre, are also main bus routes.

The clubs of PV Maldonado have the hardest looking clientele in Quito. The club clientele of Av Mariscal Sucre are not as hard looking as that of PV Maldonado. But the most volatile club for drunken rowdy guys is Club Alondras in the north. The boys of Maldonado may look rough but they don’t lose control like the guys of Club Alondras, particularly on Saturday and Sunday when everyone is there for a blowout drunk.

Check out the north and south sectors if you are in Quito for an extended time and/or like some exploratory risk with your pu*sy.

Finally, while this Fuckclub list is compiled by myself it is now dependent on you -- the mongerer on the street -- as to its continued relevancy. If you know information has changed please post it on the Quito board for others to accurately follow in your footsteps.

Stripshows late afternoon to evening. Private stripshows available for $20 (three songs). Ezinho confirmed a takeout price here for Karin, after club hours, at $70 per hour. Gabriel Ecu quotes Rachel at $80 per hour. Hlover quotes Andrea at $100 toda la noche. Johnny West quotes Sophia at $150 toda la noche. (9) Masajes Medellin, Fernando Meneses 110 y La Gasca. Open 11am to 9pm seven days a week. Optimal: noon+. $2 beers (local), $4 Budweisers. $16 chicas (20-30mins). If the fellow asks for ficha money up front say you would like a beer to relax first, then ask to take a look at the chicas and determine if you want to buy. This is the only place in Quito where the chicas are introduced one at a time. Try and remember the name of the girl you like as she passes by and kisses you on the cheek. $15 Chongos (1500 pennies)

(10) VIP Paradise Women, Fernando Meneses house N23 111 y La Gasca. It is the first house on the right as you turn onto Fernando Meneses. Open 11am to 9pm. Optimal: 4pm+. Entrance $3, small beer. $15 chicas. More of a comfortable house-club environment than Masajes Medellin, you can interact with the girls. (Bioko, posts 39 & 50)

(11) La Fragata (Miami Dolls), Mosquera Narvaez 269 y 10 de Agosto, in the basement of the hostel. Open 7pm to early morning. Optimal: 10pm+. Entrance $5, two small beers. $15 chicas for 15 mins. (Crypton, post119)

Johnny West rightly calls the 7-800 penny clubs a "lottery: could be great, could be not so great." You may need to do a lot of shopping to find a gem-ideal.

These places are basic and raw, not for those individuals looking for the 'clean & sterile' Phuck. Crypton's post 102: "The rooms in low-end brothels tend to be dingy -- you really need to supress any thoughts of what went on in that bed before your got there!"

Bobisee adds post 631: “One of the not-so-pretty chicas told me she did about 3-5 guys a day and the popular ones -- maybe 20. Many do 5 or more days a week with 8 to 12 hours or more a day. Figure it out: an easy 1000 fucks a year for the less popular ones.”

And no they do not change the bed sheets after each Phuck. They might do laundry once a week or once a month, who knows. If you choose to hit these clubs expect this.

(27) Touch Me, 10 de Agosto 4033 y Rumiipamba. Floron Trolebus stop. Open 11am to 9pm. All girls for the day are there by 11am or shortly after. Optimal: anytime. Entrance $1.50 gets a small beer, $1.50 small beers thereafter. $8 chicas (15mins). One hour sessions are $25, a special room is provided. The doorman will ask for some identification with your first visit. Make a copy of your passport and carry it with you. He also will pat you down (he IDs and security checks everyone).

This place was originally a culture shock but I quickly realized its value (“Holy Phuck this place is crazy awesome”). If you take the time to get used to the high-school dance setup (thanks Artisttyp) you will find some incredible chicas here over time. In the words of Professor1 “I am sorry I went to other places. (30-31) El Danubito Azul & La Cantera Rosa, OE10-295 Rocafuerte, open 11am to 6pm. Optimal: noon+. No entrance fee. $3 buys 56oz of beer. $8 chicas. From the SW corner of Plaza Santo Domingo (Centro Historico, Quito’s old town) head straight up street Rocafuerte to its end (you will literally smash into a mountain wall). El Danubito Azul is house OE10-295, look for the sign, nice interior. Some four buildings further down the road is a second large chongo, two-story warehouse La Cantera Rosa. If you look like a gringo you probably will not want to walk here, take a taxi. A taxi from Plaza Santo Domingo (a Trolebus stop) is $2. In daytime there are lots of poor shady characters. Two taxi drivers told me at night local males flood the dozens of cantinas to get shitfaced. No doubt they come out feeling mean, looking for trouble. San Roque is one of the worst neighborhoods I have seen in Quito, making the entire length of Av PV Maldonado in the south look like a sunny day in the park.


The Expensive Night Palaces

After talking to chicas Ezinho writes the girls in the day-casas go to these clubs at night and charge amounts many times the multiple of their day price (Davidb3069 confirms post1128). This makes sense as day casas close by 9/10pm. Earlier posters say the girls work day jobs and come here at night/weekends to earn extra cash. Probably there are both types of chicas attending these places. If you have no problem paying the extra cash you decide. With many cheaper options available in Quito I never entered Extasis, 515 or the Doll House. All pricing provided by members quoted.

Note: Both Ezinho and I think this establishment is overpriced for the quality of the chicas. But on your 'swing' by perhaps this might change. It is comfortable club but management seems to be pricing themselves out of business. As a result there are few girls present. I first visited Quito from April to September of 2006 (expenditures averaging $45US a day), a second visit from November 2007 to April 2008 (expenditures averaging $60US a day). Hey there! If you're looking for a balance between adventure, culture, and the option to explore the P4P scene without it being the main focus, each of those countries has something unique to offer.

Peru's got incredible history and landscapes. Think Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and Lima’s cool vibe. It’s budget-friendly, especially when it comes to food and local travel. While P4P isn't as big here as in some places, Lima does have some nightlife, but the country’s appeal really lies in its rich culture and natural beauty.

Ecuador is a bit more off the beaten path, but still a solid choice. You’ve got everything from the Amazon to the Andes and the Galápagos (if you're willing to splurge a bit). The vibe is a little more laid-back, and it’s fairly affordable. The scene exists, but again, it’s not as in-your-face as in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica, since you've already been there and enjoyed it, this could be a good "safe bet" for you. It’s probably the most accessible in terms of English being spoken, and it’s very tourist-friendly. Costa Rica has the most developed P4P scene of the three, particularly in places like San José or Jaco, but there’s plenty of nature, beaches, and adventure to balance things out if you want to switch gears. You should definitely check out Iziperu tho..

If you're keen on a more immersive cultural experience with the option for a little fun, Peru might be your best bet. If you're looking for a mix of laid-back vibes and a more visible P4P option, Costa Rica could work well. Ecuador would give you a unique experience, but with a little less emphasis on the party scene.

All three are great on a budget, so it depends on how adventurous or laid-back you want your trip to be.
