Has anyone tried going to dermatologists or surgeons to get lipomas removed? I can get them done here but our healthcare system is busted and doctors want to charge a king's ransom for something that's not that serious. Can anyone recommend any dermatolosts?

Look at Clinica Biblica In Escazu. They have a couple of large medical office buildings next to the hospital which makes is very convienent. I found a great endocronologist there, and pricing was very inexpensive for what I had done. Under 1100.00 for 5 different blood draws, ultasound, biopsy with tissue culture and 4 office visits with the endocronologist. In the states my portion would have been over 3,000.00. The other thing is its quick. Had to go back a 2nd day for the biopsy but everything else was done in less than 4 hours.

You can use the search function with the term "Dermatologist" and pull up some past posts on the subject. One recomendation was Dr. Matlock. Looks like he is still in practice.
