Does anyone know of a place that can be recommended for eye correction surgery? I'm also finding out there is now a different type of procedure being done for people over the age of 40, which would include me. The prices here in the states are all over the place, but the average seems to be around 3000 for both eyes. Ive looked up the recovery time and it seems very doable on a short trip and be back in action the day after. any advice would be appreciated.

How much are your eyes worth to you :?:

1. Get it done in the states for $3,000.

2. Don't EVER get both eyes done at the same time. On the small chance that the equipment is not perfectly sterile, you don't want BOTH eyes infected with bacteria that can cause blindness in BOTH eyes.

Here's a clickthrough to Bro Chilimike's mention: http://www.oftalmologia.cr/english/surgeries.htm

Presbyopia surgery is the one I'm looking for. I understand that many people get work done abroad and pay a fraction of what it costs in the States and have no issues. I was just hoping to hear from someone that has already had the procedure done and could point me in the right direction. I will be in the Gulch next week and will most likely just walk into a couple places and see how they look. thank you all for the advice and the link.

As an alternate, get in touch with Bro WordWiz either by PM or through his biz site: http://healthtraveltours.com/ He's helped a lot of Bros including me and my brother get various medical procedures done at a price you couldn't match on your own.
