I have no idea of your "history" nor did I suggest you "prove" anything.

But what I DO know is a "successful gambler" (or any other "investor") NEVER puts all his money on a single bet unless he already knows the outcome (in which case, of course, it's not really a bet).

Help me out here. I understand the thrill of sextory....

But as a very serious sports bettor I am surprised in reading up because CR is well known for it's registration of several large internet books but there seems to be limited options as to where to play on vacation here.

Everyone says to look up Gary at the SL but where are all the best options? How much are the limits? Can I bet a dime on NCAA totals for example?

I'm going to CR more to "play" than to bet but I have searched this website and not found a lot of great info about the best places to wager with no problems whatsoever. Are there Vegas style sportsbooks in CR?

Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I was just poking at you a little......... And I am not sure what your history is with betting and I will not assume anything. But that is exactly what we do when we are betting...... If your bankroll does not afford that, then you have to work much harder. But a true gambler looks for his spots and jumps when he sees a bet that he can not pass up....... Not sure why you are way too sensitive on Christmas bro....... I thought you might take that the wrong way, I was thinking to word it differently......Anyway, Merry Christmas again......

well ....we gave you the best places to bet .....morazan is most likely to take your action (big bets) if betting that much action with gowidesports you might want to meet up with both Gary and Jimmy .....and really who bets a dime on ncaa totals anymore ....if its you, god bless ya .....and your action is that high ...my guess why would you even want to mess around with a book you dont know ....you must have people begging for your action ......the days of big players are gone .....in sanjose a $500 play is a big play ....I watch Gary and the morazan take $25 play after $25 play ....the few that have the ammo to make big plays get cleaned out early ....I am a $50 to $100 player and think of myself as one who can take a win ....and put on the brakes when the bullshit starts ...thats why I am still in action after 30 years of weekly betting and not living on the streets

I appreciate the info. In Vegas I'm sure you understand that a dime is nothing (even on totals). I'm going to CR for a vacation and the betting is secondary. However I would like to know all details of my options for sports betting there.

No one should question you on the amounts that you bet unless they are your book and you are destroying them. While you are here, CM is correct about the places to bet if you are just doing it for fun. If you wanna be more serious, it is not a problem to find one of the most reputable books in the world to take your bet while you are down here.......Especially since they are based out of this country...... But what do I know.....??????

ok ...good answers ....you are a player ...and I understand what you are asking now .....Tony at the morazan will take your action .....On the gowidesports site the limits are $500 on totals ...but maybe talking to them you can higher amounts ....if your in san jose during week 1 of march madness please look me up ....I bet all days and 75% of my plays are totals (1st and 2nd half totals mostly) even if your not in town ....please share some of picks ...promise I wont fade them

I agree that a gambler looks for his spots. That's exactly what a professional gambler does.

Me ? I don't really gamble. I'm a firm believer in not betting what you can't afford to lose and I don't want to put in the time it takes to be really good at it.

I'll join "pools" and such (like CRT) but that's about it.

I agree completely with that. Do not bet what you can not afford. But those are the kinds of people that made gambling such a lucrative business I guess....
