I am making my first trip to CR the week after Easter for 9 days. I plan to spend the first five at the SportsMan and the last two at the DR. I am debating between Jaco and Dominical for a weekend in the middle. I am sort of looking for a good place to come too next Easter with my 14 year old son to do somethings ( riding, surfing etc ) and while I won't be desperate after a week in SJ would still like "some nightlife with people" while recovering and exploring...what advise can you give....Any other places that might be good for him and I next year that I would enjoy exploring on this trip? Thanks

A couple months ago I posted a trip report on Dominical, but I'm afraid it was lost in the change of hosting fiasco we had on the board a few weeks back.

My short report on Dominical would be...if you are a surfer, or WASP couple looking for real estate on a mountain overlooking the ocean with very little night life...Dominical is for you. If you need more things to do, nightlife, bars, restaurants etc...you'll definitely prefer Jaco.
