Here's my first post.I would like to know a good route from San Jose
to Quepos.On my trip to SJ this time I'm going fishing there an will
probably stay one or two nights.How far??

Roachman...welcome to the boards. From San Jose you take the highway back to the airport, but keep going till you see the turn for Atenas. Follow the signs to Jaco, and then follow the signs to Qeapos. It will take you about 2 hours from the airport to Jaco, so about 3 hours to Qeapos. Also, I highly reccommend Villa Mymosas in Qeapos for your stay there.

Unless you like very long tedious booring hours over windy not so perfect roads... OK I'm a bit spoiled... Nature air or Sansa will get you ther for less than $100.00 RT out of Pavas Airport in about 21 minutes Wheels up to wheels down...

I know many like to see the country side and drive.. Me.. Give me 21 minutes in the air anytime.. I see the country side just fine... and I'm absorbing a cocktail at the pool bar at the parador by the time your getting past SJO airport..... Just one mans spoiled opinion.
