Can anyone tell me about the Master Suite at El Presidente and if you can bring more than 1 chica at a time.

I doubt if the rule is waived for the master suite but it's one per person. I saw guys in the News Cafe waiting for their buddies to finish so they could take their chica up to a shared room. Have a wingman staying there check in the 2nd girl for you to get past the desk and security.

While we are talking about the Presidente ,I once read that the studio rooms don`t have a night table. Would anyone know if this is true for all the studio rooms? Thanks

I believe that is correct,I have stayed in three different studio rooms and none had a night table. Kind of a pain finding a place to store my clothes that don't hang in the closet. The only piece of furniture that has drawers is the little writing desk next to the TV. Other than that I like the studio rooms and usually request one. Maria told me that the price is going up to $42. after Jan1st.

My friends and i rented out 3 studio rooms the week before last, and none had night tables. I actually used the chair at the small desk as a makeshift night table where i could keep my goodies nearby. It fit perfectly on the side near the window and wasn't in the way. I have pics of the studio room in case anyone's interested in seeing what it's like. I know the presidente doesn't have any on it's website nor any they can email out, so i took it upon myself to snap a few for anyone who might be interested in how the room looks.

I stayed in the master suite for my first visit to san jose back in late july and my friend had to turn away a young lady because the guy at the front desk told us we were only allowed one guest per person. I remember the name of the guy at the front desk but i'll keep that for backchanneling. He did seem to have a chip on his shoulder. I could be speculating but maybe this one guy seems to have it in for guys on vacation enjoying themselves? Generally, the people working the front desk were friendly and courteous but this one guy seemed to have an agenda. I would like to know what the actual policy is as far as the master suite is concerned because i plan to get it again for a future trip to CR and i've read people that explain the master suite has no chica limit and others including myself who have had to turn away a girl because they only allow one chica per guest.

shared a room at the presidente with my wingman on both trips, never had a problem bringing two chicas back to the same room.... TLN included. My suggestion is to take one up at a time... have one wait at the news cafe.... then go down and get the other one... enjoy the threesome!!

Or, have a friend check one chica in for you, take the elevator up with you and after a minute or two he can head back to the DL.

Have fun!!!

Does anyone know if they have wireless access or wired access for a laptop at the El Pres?

This is the OFFICIAL policy of the master suite... the rules are one chica per room and technically the Master suite has two rooms, thus if you are staying in the Master Suite BY YOURSELF, you can bring in two chicas... but if there are two guys checked into the room, it will wind up as one chica per guy (or per 'room' within the suite).

Now, I've heard from many sources that, like any other rules in CR, you can get around them if you know the right people or pay the right amount, but what I wrote above is the official policy as given to me and GetRhythm when we rented the Master Suite out this past 4th of July weekend.

Hope this helps,

Ruffnutz

I just reserved a couple of rooms for Memorial Day weekend, but I need a later checkout on my departure day. My flight will be at 6pm, so I don't want to spend my last day there walking around town with my bags all day. Plus, I'd like to shower before hitting the airport.

Has anybody gotten it or tried to at the Pres? What is their policy about late check-outs?

thanks.

I have the same situation. Since check out is 11am, and my flight isnt til 6pm I was kind of wondering what I would do. I realized I could kill time at the DR, MP's and such but I didnt want to pull around a suitcase and backpack.

I called the front desk, and they said I could leave my stuff in their "luggage hold" and just pick it up when I have to leave.

I was thinking about just finding the cheapest hotel and just hucking my stuff in there, but I wont bother.

Worse case, just find a buddy thats there the same time as you, but staying a day longer and ask if you can huck a suitcase in his room and/or use his shower before you leave.
