Well, I spent the last 9 days in the standard room of the Casa Vino, and I have to really give credit to them. From before I even arrived in SJO they were helpful in providing me with info I wanted and needed, and provided me with every service. They also arranged to have a driver waiting for me at the airport, with the keys to the place, and my fee to the driver was the same as it would have been to take a reg taxi. The place itself was perfect for me. It's just like having your own private apartment in San Jose. No noisy hotels, no front desk security, and no chica fees! The room is located 30 seconds on foot from the ZB and the same distance from the NF. It's also next to the Clarion Hotel and there is a constant stream of taxis going by. 5 minute walk from the DR (daytime only) The room has a safe, a fridge, a TV that includes movie channels, is climate controlled, has a phone and an alarm clock, and a big shower stall with lots of room for for a soapy chica to play with you. The only downside there is that the water pressure could have been a little better. Maid service is available at your request only, so if you don't want to be bothered you won't be, but if you need something it's there. The house has only 2 suites, a larger master suite that includes a wet bar, a kitchen, and a living room with a wall sized projection tv, or the standard room that I stayed in. The room is not fancy, but is very comfortable. both suites have separate entrances, but the whole place can be rented together as a 2 bedroom house and the connecting door off the stairwell can be opened to make it one unit. The rates are reasonable and of course your CRT VIP discount applies here. This place is a great new alternative to staying in the big hotels, and I really want to give props up to the guys that run it. I was only the 4th customer for them, and I'm sure this place will become more popular going forward, and as the word gets around. Their service was great, and I recommend it highly, especially for you regular ZB visitors! Give it a look! |

K, Since this is more like a private apartment than a hotel, did you have any problems bringing chicas back from DR/BM? My first trip, my buddy and I rented a house in Heredia, and we had a lot of trouble getting chicas back there. We only brought chicas back twice. Most said they only go to hotels, for security reasons. I am thinking it was probably mostly due to the fact that it was 40 minutes each way. Obviously, time is money. Haha. |

No, no problem at all. It's 2 mins away by taxi. None of the girls even thought twice about it. If in doubt just say Amon Plaza, they're used to that, and the distance, so it shouldn't be an issue. less time to get there than to run the cedula through! |

I didn't have any problems with that at all either. The area is very safe, well lit and there is a full time security guy right next to Casa Vino at the Dunn Inn hotel. The girls really loved it there and were bugging me about getting invited to a little party I was throwing at the house. I told one of them she could come but there was a cover charge, when she asked how much I replied "Cien dollares"!. The shoe was finally on the other foot. Hoffa |

X, Before asking a question like that, do a search. You'll have the answer much faster than waiting for a response on the thread. https://costaricaticas.com/news.php?id=221 |

Haha. Nah, although reading it, it does sound like it. I already PM'd Xman, we're straight. [This is one of the drawbacks of email/chat, can't read tone, body language, emotions (except those cool little emoticons we all love to overuse) |
