I don't know where on this site you've "continuously read about foul-smelling" poon... I don't recall reading too much about it.

If her vagina has a persistent odor like rotten/dead fish, she may have a bacterial infection. The good news is that it's treatable and curable with a short course of antibiotics. The bad news is that a shower won't cure it, nor will douching, and she may infect your penis with the bacteria, giving you what some call "Stinky Dink." No joke.
If the "finger test" reveals this strong, unmistakable stench, avoid her. Suggest diplomatically that she see a doctor.

I agree I have not read that much here about too much stink being around in CR. Think it is less than 5% of the Chicas with this problem. One thing that just kills the deal for me is this. My mind starts wondering what she is harvesting down there? More than half of the few stinkies I have been with smelled fine at first as they where very clean Latinas that where very conscious about their health but after working in & out with my little plunger out came the odor what a shame as these were such pretties you just don't expect this. 
I can not stand at full attention long with this going on so I bail & move & finish with the BJ. After taking another shower I discuss with them how to remedy this little problem.
Just cupping & splashing plain water is much healthier for them & will lead to a fresher smell. Douching can create problems also especially if overdone. Look for swollen lymph nodes this is a sign of infection & pelvic inflammatory disease. You will feel these in Y area (inguinal area) where the bush starts to grow generally. 
These are all signs of frequent flyers so I know more what I am dealing with by all these little signs. 
When I find this type of Chica I also discuss the ways to distinguish good men from bad. Many are way too naive at the beginning for their own good.
