Post subject: AA Mileage 30,000 to CR
PostPosted: Sun Oct 16, 2005 10:05 pm
I just booked my next trip and used my mileage. AA offers a round trip from anywhere in the US to CR for 30,000 miles for travel until 11-15-05 or between 1-15-06 and 6-15-06.

My ticket was $27.34..... so I guess I'll have a little extra for entertainment in CR....

I believe AA is the only one that lets you do a triangle between 3 US locations on its 25k award, so I've been stopping at that. But this 30k looks very tempting, too.

American West has just adopted US Air's 30k also. so I should have a couple of those to burn over the next year.

It's not always 30K. Before Sept 7th it was 35k.

I hope my next flight is over booked. They offered a $400 credit plus a hotel for the night. I had already arranged for a pick-up so I had to pass. I will be ready to volunteer my seat next trip if I get the chance.

Several of the guys said that this happens quite often.

Delta flies direct from Atlanta to San Jose twice a day. They are 4 hour flights with a meal and movie each way.

Effective with the end of daylight savings this Sunday the morning flight is
10:45AM-1:45PM and the evening flight is 6:25PM-9:25PM.

The returns are 9:00AM-2:00 and 3:00PM-8:05PM.

Use Travelocity.com, Expedia.com or Delta.com for updates.
