im now stationed in norfolk, va and was shocked when looking at prices for flights roundtrip to san jose....flying out of philadelphia i was accustomed to paying in the 300-350 range and now norfolk i cant seem to find anything under 525...i mean should i sit tight and wait for a deal to come along, should i fly out of another city, or should i just buy now cuz they usually go up even higher. i got my 3rd trip booked for november 16-20 and i dont have a flight for it yet....any info or alternatives would be highly appreciated..money

Flights out of the Washington, DC airports (DCA, IAD and BWI) are running around $265 - $305 r/t on USAIRWAYS. You may have to amend your leave chit to return on 11/21 in order to get those fares. I don't believe you will see much improvement on the fares out of ORF. Raleigh - Durham & Richmond are high fares as well.

Good Luck,

Blue Devil

Bro I live in the Richmond area and the best deals are from Wash (DCA) or (BWI) or Dulles. Once I went through Williamsburg to CTL then to SJO for about 350.- but what a trip three airports and time frames. Hope this helps
