Looking for info on the SL expansion. Is there construction going on that would spoil the experience there?

I'd hate trying to sleep in late and listening to hammers/saws etc.....

When I made reservations there for my up-comming trip, I asked Ray the same question. He said that the construction is in a totally different area and will not be a problem. Of course, that is what he says. I guess I will find out in nine days for myself. If I think it is a problem, I will post.

I have not heard anyone else complaining about any noise though.

The construction is a TOTALLY SEPERATE Building, you will not hear a thing.

Lo siento, I forgot to post this.

I spoke to Ray a couple weeks ago and he said they had purchased the building just to the west of SL. They will be adding 10 new rooms.

He also wanted to thank the CRT members for staying there and posting their comments here. They provide good service and appreciate our business.

It's not that hard to build good relationships.

Just flew back in from SL. The 9 rooms will be completed in October. The room at the top will be the penthouse suite ($250) with a nice view of the city. One king bed, one queen size in a loft. Big screen TV with a jacuzi. Pounding starts in the morning sometimes. The entrance to the new rooms will be behind the pool table, where the stain glass window is. I'm trying to get cheap airfare to stay for new years.

Do the rooms have a small bar fridge like the ones in the Presidente ?

Existing rooms do not have mini fridges.
