Just an unsolicited plug for the CRT VIP membership ...

I'm staying at the Presidente, and with the CRT rates it's a great deal. The hotel is clean, rooms have good amenities, and with the discount you really can't beat the price. I checked a few others ... Balmoral, Del Rey, San Jose Morazon and Aurola Holiday Inn ... same ballpark rates as non-discounted Presidente Rate for standard rooms, all in the same area of town. The Presidente was as good or better than those, and no chica fee!!

I've saved more than twice the cost of the CRT VIP with the hotel discounts alone, but I'd recommend this hotel even at their regular rates.

First I agree that the CRT rate at the Presidente is a great deal. It's my preferred hotel and I only stay other places when there are no rooms left there.

I also agree that the CRT VIP membership is worth it.

But, as a point of clarification, you can get the CRT discount at the Presidente without being a VIP member.
