Does the Presidente have ESPN? College football kicks off September 3rd, soon after my arrival, and I need to catch the 2006 National Champion Georgia Bulldogs in their first game. If not, is there a bar at, say, Sportmen's Lodge or somewhere?

Hey Mojo;

Yes, there are two channels of ESPN at the Presidente, but it is hit and miss with football. There are a few games televised during the first week of action, but the only chance Georgia has of being televised is if they are playing a decent 1A team, which they probably are not :lol: , so you may want to try the Colonial (upstairs section) many T.V.'s and is pretty comfortable. The Horseshoe also has a sports room upstairs. Other than that plan on watching Soccer on ESPN.
:cry:

Anyone know if they plan on televising the FSU vrs. Miami game in SJ?
Now that has to be the game of the week......At least the loser will have the rest of the season to get over the loss. My old man, Circus, was on the 64' team.......he washed the dirty uniforms and cleaned the port o lets. Sometimes he still mumbles about his old football injuries.......Right pops, like the ones when you got drunk and would fall over bleachers at the Doak Campbell stadium. It's difficult being in the Circus family....really.

Gentlemen,

The Sportsmens Lodge has two 2.4 meter dish`s with 9 different monitors and programing from the USA (Dish Network) in English with a College Football Package...in other words, if Sportsmens Lodge doesnt have a game you want to watch nobody will have it here in San Jose, Costa Rica. Sportsbetting is also available here.

Best Regards,

True Sportsman

I gotta give props to the SL on this. Bill will go out of his way to make sure he has the game you want to watch on at least one of the TV's. Forget about finding a game at the BM, and I doubt there will be much chica activity at the Prez or Horseshoe.
