Can anybody give me some info about the area of BAh-a Salinas?? Are there Tica's available in this area?? Will be in San Jose in Sept. then in Bah-a Salinas area.....

Its called Bahia Salinas. How on earth did you ever pick that place? You will practically be on the Nicaraguan border. I think its only accessable via dirt road on a 4 wheel drive vehicle, and then only when it hasn't rained recently. It may be picturesque, I've never been there. Probably never will be there! I've been close, on the Nicaraguan side in San Juan del Sur. At any rate, you're talking about going to near the end of known civilization. No, there will not be any Tica action there. Not even close. Not even near. Not even as far as the ox can travel in two days.

This may be the sort of place you are looking for, I have no idea. Personally, I would reconsider destinations. For Tica action you must concentrate on San Jose and Jaco. For a first trip to Costa Rica, there are many more attractive alternatives, regardless of whether you are tica chasing or not.

Thanks you for that info, here is another ecample why CRT is worth the money. Would have hated to ruined my trip.
