Post subject: spa room at Presidente
PostPosted: Fri Jul 08, 2005 10:45 pm
I have a question for all you Presidente experts. I sent an e-mail, asking for a spa suite, which is listed on CRT for $90+tax per night. Wendy wrote back, saying:

"At this moment for those dates we don´t have grand
spa suites available we can offer you one spa room,
bigger than the junior suite with jacuzzi for two
persons, quite room, corporate rate $81+tax.Please
let me know. Thank you"

I am a bit confused, as the rooms listed on CRT for $81 are the Junior Suites, which I do not believe have a jacuzzi?

Can anyone explain what is going on?

Thanks, Racetrack

I was confused about this too, but here you go-
https://costaricaticas.com/news.php?id=195

It appears they have Spa rooms-81.00
Quote:
Spa Rooms are larger than the Standards, with seating area and desk. They have huge 2 person whirlpools in the bathrooms. All Spa Rooms have king size beds and 32’’ TVs.

and Spa suites- 90.00
Quote:
The Spa Suites have it all. Whirlpool, balconies, king size beds, 32’’ TVs, living room.

I believe some of the spa suites or spa rooms, not sure which, are "inside" accomdations - meaning they do not have a window ...

To Clarify:

Spa Rooms are basically what used to be called the smaller Jr. Suites or inside rooms on the floors. They are about the same size of a Jr. Suite but have a nice large Jacuzzi and brand furnishings floors etc. They are some of the refurbished rooms of the old section a great value all with windows.

The Spa Suites are absolutely very large to enormous for single rooms with larger jacuzzis. than the Spa Rooms.

at 81.00 bucks if you can get the Spa Room over the Jr. Suite its a nice upgrade for the same price.

The Spa Suites are the just incredible. VERY NICE! Hope that clears it up!
