YO DonCarlos: Correct me if I am wrong but I do not see any advantage or difference in the special package rates compared to day to day except several free drinks and $20 worth of shuttle fees. The $20. poker buy in is really void since most guys do not play casino poker. Also you do not mention if this special rate includes taxes and safe key. Please explain what a "Delux Wake-Up Call" is. Is this a chica coming up to the room and arousing the guest to wake up? Another thing. Being an ex-junket gambler for many years, your $50 and $100 min bet for 5 hours for 4 days is rather heavy for what little one gets in return (especially in CR). I can get room, meals, delux Vegas shows for 4 hours play a day for $50 to $100. min. bet and half of those comps for $25 to $50. min. Same in Biloxi, Shreveport and some caribbean (not Nassau) casinos. I am not complaining about your packages, you know your game plan and I don't. But, I can tell you that the percentage of that $$ stakes gambler in our group is quite small. It might benefit you to come up with a more creative and less expensive package for light gamblers to get these guys away from the Gulch and into your hotel. Just my 2 cents worth. What in the heck are Delux Wake-Up Calls ??? |

YO Admin: Is it my imagination or did the post by DonCarlos change after I posted and now his post does not say edited? That does not happen on regular member's posts that I know of. Now there is only a different hyperlink as opposed to the original message and two hyperlinks that are no longer there. The gentleman does not seem to want to address my questions as a potential consumer....Oh well, it's a free country. I only bring this up because the hotel - casino is advertised on this thread and thus supported by our admins. Something does not smell right. Would appreciate your imput. Thanks. |

Circus: .... I edited the post to make it into an announcement as I have asked DC, to refrain from making board announcements as with ANY sponsor without it being run by me 1st. I had not read your comments when I made made the changes. DC does not read the board as regularly as some and I am sure he will indeed respond to your questions as of course you have a right to say what you want and have valid points. |

Post subject: | not impressed with Europa |
Just a note to board members who haven't stayed there: I spent a night at the Europa about 8 months ago. Was sent there by the staff at the Morazan, who once again seemed to "lose" my reservation. The rate was good, at $40 a night. Front desk service was friendly and efficient. I was not impressed by the room. Very small. There is a pool, but it wasn't very clean. In fairness, I only viewed my room and about 3 others (while the maid had doors open on the floor the following morning), so it could well be that there are more attractive rooms on other floors. To the best of my memory, I was on the second floor. The casino is very small. |

YO DC: Yes, I think you are on the right track to keep it more simple as you relayed to me in the PM's. One has to remember that this crew, when in town, has a hard enough time counting chicas, condoms and colones. Especially the ones drugged on vitamin V, C, and of course booze. They need to know more about the "Delux Wake-Up Call." I still have my doubts about you having TV's come up to the room with a rose in their mouth and sing falsetto through the keyhole......not to mention the bun rub. |
