Balmoral is not very chica friendly as they prefer to market their property to the family orientated tourists. They have a rather hefty chica fee but can not remember the exact rate at the moment. I think it is like $20.00

I am not familiar with Inca Real, sorry.

Morazan is 506-222-4622

the inca real is a good bargain in the $40-$50 range, single person, free continental breakfast of i think fruit, toast and juice. The beds are good and showers are large. The rooms in the basement area are noisy in the am due to the dining room located there also. Walls are really thin so you hear next room noise or maybe it is the vented doors. Chicas allowed but there is a $10 charge i believe. The third floor was sunnier. No elevator so you have to hump your luggage up the stairs. No safety deposit box in the room but there is a tv. i had trouble getting extra spare towels.

I stayed at the Hotel Inca Real last weekend. $45/night for a room with ceiling fan and queen bed. There is no free breakfast, and yes the $10 chica fee is in effect! Agree with Megusta regarding the place. Thin walls are not for the 'screamers'.
Nice hotel staff that spoke good english. Onsite restaurant only available for breakfast, open till 10:00 am and was overcharging (i.e., $4 for 2 scrambled eggs). Place was empty when I was there.
Also had onsite bar that was very clean, but didn't see how they were priced. Seems to be gringo packpackers kind of place.

Inca Real is a CRT sponsor hotel. I believe in supporting those who support you, and they support you through sponsoring CRT. Besides that they offer a VIP discount. See

One of my friends stayed at Balmoral. It was comfortable but he found the restrictions on visitors not to his liking.

From the picture it looks like a nice small "civilian" bar inside the Inca Real plus as DiegoC said, support our own. I notice they have affiliated hotels elsewhere--wonder if they offer any similar-type discounts? Not the thread for that; I'm just curious
