hola and thanks for the info, years ago the best western down town use to sell the departure tax. hopefully more hotels follow suit and offer this. pura vida

Im not sure if you have to be a registered guest. I was staying there but they didnt ask me if i was. You buy the tax thru a division of Taca airlines thats in the hotel so i think you could buy it even if not staying there. I went to Presidente 1st to try and buy it but they wouldnt let me. So i went back to the amon and asked if they sold departure tax. They said they did and pointed me to the taca booth.
