Decided that this tax guy had a well deserved trip coming…although I ventured to Costa Rica for the 1st time from January 6th throughy the 13th of ’05, felt compelled to come back again on April 16th for 12 nights in Paradise.

Upon my decision, immediately contacted Bill the owner of Sportsmens Lodge with my intentions. I was advised that I would be welcomed back with open arms for my trip, as I reserved for my 12 night stay.

I cannot say enough about how much you feel like a part of the family at Bill’s place. His entire staff from Ray & Wanda the Managers and Heidi, Carol, Violetta, Margie, Patricia the bar staff, also had the pleasure of meeting Bill’s father on this trip, a complete genetlemen (I hope I have his energy at 79)…..

There was a quite a contingent from Chicago staying at the SL as well including a couple of newbiew who I am sure will be staying there again....

Thanks again to all who helped make this stay the most enjoyable one yet (can't wait to beat this one)

Returned from Costa Rica on the 29th of April with an unscheduled evening at the Charlotte Sheraton Hotel (Thank you US Airways) looking forward to my next trip in ’05 and my future stays at Sportsmens.

I just got my reservation there for the CRT anniv. party week. I have been staying at the Apartotel La Sabana for my past three visits, because of the non-stop construction at the Pres. and the general rush of the gulch. After reading the glowing reviews of SL however, I decided to quickly get my reservation for my annual pilgramige. I talked to Ray on the phone who was very helpful and speaks excelent English without an accent even. He might be a gringo for all I know. Anyway, I am looking forward to my trip and thanks to all who wrote the praises of the SL to share their experiences.
