I would leave Jaco no later than 6am. Good luck if you spend the night prior in the Beatle Bar.

I stayed in Jaco and did the Beatle Bar the night before my flight . I made arrangements for a cab the day before and emphasized how important it was to be on time. I left Jaco at 9am and was at the airport at 11am. The driver was firendly, nice new vehicle. 70 bucks. I booked the cab through the front desk. No problem,Raw

Just the jew in me speaking out... 70 bucks ouch. Take the bus back the day before and spend an extra 68 dollars on girls :) I don't understand why in the world someone would pay that kind of money for transportation in CR. I'm pretty sure if you take the bus in from jaco, it stops at the airport first... at least the express bus from quepos did. Just find out if there is a 6am bus back to SJ and maybe hit up a masajo before your flight...

I agree. Too expensive for the risks.I would get closer to the airport cause one major F-Up on the road, and you miss that flight. And taxi man will still get your dollars.
