Booked my Taca flight to SJ on the net. Prices sure have gone up since last year! I was told that even if you have a ticket, if the prices go down before you depart, they will honor the new price.

Is that true? If so, I was told that Wednesday mornings (midnight to 3 AM EST), there are 'deals' or sales where the price is greatly reduced. Is that also true, or another 'urban myth'?
