I am thinking of taking a chica to the Quepos area for a few days, either a girl from G&G ******* or from the BM. My question is: Will all the hotels in the area let us in, assuming that the chica is not provocatively dressed? Will also want to hang around the pool, etc - and don't want to offend any vacationing families. |

Search function would have come in handy here but....yes, Quepos hotels are chica friendly. I have stayed in several w/o incident or problem. dapanz1 |

Not sure whether you're looking to splurge a little but I stayed at Hotel Parador in Quepos and it's one of the most incredible hotels I've ever stayed at anywhere. I wasn't with chica but I did get the impression that if your "date" looks "appropriate" you should have no problem. |

I've heard great things about Parador. I've never been but, considering its' location right inside MA National Park, it must be awesome! I've stayed at the following: Si Como No, Piscinas, Hotel Mariposa and another place that escapes me. It is the LAST hotel before entrance to MA. I really recommend Mariposa. It is on the expensive side but the view, service, food and beverages were outstanding! www.hotelmariposa.com dapanz1 |

www.hotelmariposa.com dapanz1 Just a minor correction...the Parador is not inside the MA National Park. It is located a couple of miles before the Park. You take the right-hand turn next to the Mariposa and it's at the very end of the dirt road, on top of a peninsula. The Makanda By the Sea and La Mansion Inn are located about half-way down the hill. I've stayed at the Parador about four times, and the Si Como No twice. They are both fantastic places to stay, albeit somewhat expensive. One time while staying at the Parador in the rainy season, part of the dirt road was unpassable due to heavy rains, and we had to walk and carry our suitcases the last hundred yards or so! |

I stand corrected. Isn't there a hotel inside the park? If so, what is the name of the place? dapanz1 |

There is no hotel actually inside the Park. There are about seven small hotels and cabinas that are just outside/adjacent to the two entrances to the park. I suppose you could say that they are within the park, as they are either across the street or a short walk to the park. |

It depends on how you define 'chica friendly'. On the two occasions I stayed there, there was no problem as I merely had the chica register with me. That's the same with any hotel. The problem(s) may arise if you tried to bring in a different chica every day/night. In that case, they are not 'chica friendly'. Both times I brought the chica from San Jose. Once was with a Tica favorita and once was with a Colombiana. As the Tica was a CR citizen, I even got a small discount at the Si Como No. If you bring a chica from SJO, there is no problem at the Si Como No, or the Parador for that matter. Just make sure you know the chica beforehand and discuss everything upfront, i.e. price, etc, and be prepared for multiple cell phone calls to her familia. |

I never had the problem either at Si Como No. I made advance reservations for 2. Showed up with a chica that looks like a hooker and had no problem. We stayed two nights w/o problem. dapanz1 |
