Anyone have any tips for avoiding/reducing the chica fee at the Balmoral short of just not staying there? |

I used to get the fee waived every visit. I tipped the desk manager and gave him cigars. Then a new Hotel manager took over, a female. Even though I had stayed there numerous times she would not allow them to waive the fee. So now I stay at the Presidente, and the Balmoral management doesn't care. |

Reality check, not all hotels in San Jose want or seek monger business and they make it as difficult, if not impossible, for mongers to practice their hobby. |
