CR Virgin - Newbie!

Going to CR in late May for two weeks.My USA passport expires July 5,I planned on renewing in June on my return.Some countries require a month or two overlap on your passport before they will admit you.What is CR's policy on this please?Would appreciate a definite answer,no maybes,please.Thanks bigjohn1@rediffmail.com

actually it is 30- 180 days after your traveling date. i went came back feb9th with my passport expiring march 30-05. to be on the safe side renew your passport now. it is $60 plus 55 for expedited service. mine took about 3 weeks. i also requested extra pages. pura vida
