Can anyone give me any information about this hotel?
Tica Policy?
Atmosphere?
Anything at all would help. Thanks in advance!

Don't know about the Tica policy, but being in Los Suenos is not really like being in Costa Rica. Be sure and get out and see some of the surrounding area. For instance, turn right out of Los Suenos, go to the beach, turn left and go until you see a restaurant called Juanita's on the left. Excellent food with a Tico flavor. Be sure and order some of the ceviche and patacones. I do have to say I like the Hook up restaurant and bar in the Los Suenos marina.

5 star. Expensive. Chica extra. Great multilevel pools. No natural beach to speak of. Restaurants $$$. Golf course $$$. 10 minute taxi ride to Jaco Beach and where the action is. IN my opinion, its easier and more fun to stay in Jaco Beach...unless youre with your wife or sig other. I dont think they even take Marriott points much of the time which is what one friend tried to do unsuccessfully. Good fishing at the marina though.

Good luck.

For a really nice place in Jaco, try Club Del Mar. Probably the nicest ($$$) place in Jaco and is comparable with the Marriott.

No high speed internet in the rooms. Never had to pay chica fees but they needed to pass security and register at the desk. Lots of couples and white people who will look at you funny. Screw them. Nice pool. Casino. Business center. Room service. Good memories. Just act civilized.

Am intrigued by the part "and white people" could you elaborate and enlighten us on what that means?

It is pricey as you know. You must drive or take a taxi to the action and restaurants and sand beach. Isolated is the word.

Some may like it.

Not putting words in Zefrosses mouth, but he probably means all gringos, not too many ticos. I use that term a lot, along with vanilla, when there are no latinas around.

I'm stuck in Battle Creek Michigan this week after spending last week in Miami. Too many gordita gringas here. I fly home to San Diego tomorrow and I need to go to TJ for a latina fix. me gusta latinas. We all do.

As far as los Suenos goes, it is very nice but pricey. The taxi ride sucks too. Only ten minutes but if you want two or more sessions you have to cab it back. If you drive there are check points sometimes that can make your life miserable.

In december I stayed 6 nights at the balcon del mar, ocean front with a balcony, small room, refrigerator,ac,tv,clean and comfortable, good food, next to the police station,60.00 a night.I wasnt aware of chica fees, this was my first time to Costa Rica. They charged me 25 bucks , to take a girl to my room. the next day I talked to the guy at the front desk , He said if I just paid for 2 people in the room there would be no problem, so I paid an extra 10 bucks per night,no big deal. I checked out the best western on my way in, it seemed ok, but I wanted an authentic costa rican experience.
