I have only been in CR one time, almost 2 years ago. I stayed at the Holiday Inn in San Jose, it was pretty nice, basically like a U.S. hotel. You could even flush toilet paper, which I was told you shouldn't prior to getting there. The guy taking my bags up, laughed when I asked him that. Ok my question-- I'm wondering how the hotels I've read about measure up to the Holiday Inn, also I spent $70 when I booked it online, I think through Orbitz. Should I be paying less than that? Just asking the experts on this board. I should also mention last time I came with some buddies, and 4 of us shared a room, that sucks, won't do that again. Hard to bring chicas up when your 3 buddies have the same idea. The girls said they never heard of that before. Plus we were together for 10 days San Jose, Jaco, and one of those volcanoes, I don't remember anymore, so I was ready to kill them. Thanks for taking the time to read this. |

I suggest you check the Hotels,Restaurant... section and you will find all the info you will ever need about hotels in CR. Every hotel in the gulch has guys that swear by it-so asking which is the best is like asking which DR chica should I phuck first.Certainly there are several choices that will cost less than $70/night |
