How is staying at the cocal? I will be going in January first time. Are the poolside rooms any good? |

I like the condo better, but it is multi-room so it is more unless you bring buddies. I have stayed in their rooms and they are clean. Nothing great. I would stay away from the pool as the ladies will sit next to your doors and it will be loud. My perspective anyway. I like to have a quiet place to go back to… |

Yeah, poolside is way too loud and lots of eyes always watching you come and go. If you can slip around the corner to beachside it is much better. But still: so-so @ best. Personally, I prefer South Beach. It's a short Uber ride from the noise of the Cocal, comfortable beds!!, has a nice pool, decent bar, nice spot with chairs and lounges on the beach, pretty good beach to hike on walking south and killer breakfasts. The 2 penthouse rooms are sweet. |
