I'd like to try it sometime in the future. The guest fee does discourage me though. But it's sooooo close to TM

According to Tico time in 2025 first quarter tourism drop by 7% expect in 2025 drop between 15 to 20% by the year end. The eco tourism is not working. Plus 1 USD=500 CRC. 2022 it was 1USD=680CRC. But for most of us whose stayed at sportsmen’s money still important but most of us we are older. like they all say I’m fixing to enjoy my twilight years. Money are useless if you are dead.

not sure when it did and the guest fee is a tad steep but it is a comfortable friendly alternative and close to the promised land

Staying in September and I have checked everything out, looks good to me. Will let everyone know more when I can confirm it.

I just stayed there in the beginning of Sept. The breakfast area is closed and also the bar and restaurant in the back. I enjoyed staying there also. The 20$ chica fee is a little high. It was nice and quiet though, a get away from across the street.
