I do not like to write bad reviews As a restaurant reviewer in sw fl I never wrote a bad review. It is someones business I am loathe to impugn it. But, it is necessary for me to warn my crt brethren about the castillo. It was pathetic, a dungeon and how anyone could rate it higher than one pathetic star is beyond my comprehension. The food, barely edible the rooms dark dingy and depressing. Amenities? running water not much else. If this was a flophouse for $30 a night, okay, buyer beware, but at midrange prices? Tragic. As a relatively old man here's a tip, how about a little assistance from the staff? Good luck guys enjoy the show wordwiz out! |

There are so many of us that disagree with you. I have been staying at Amistad\Castillo for about 10 years, and I have been very pleased. |

I totally disagree. The Castillo is the best in class for our sport. |
