Post subject: | Question re: the streaming app used at Castillio for sports |
Random question, but can any one tell me what service or app the Castillo hotel is using for the bar room tvs? I was visiting in November and it looks like they have the ability to stream over-the-air (OTA) signals from all over the US. I noticed this when the manager was trying to find a college football game in the app menu. There were over a dozen options for ABC, NBC, CBS channels from the major east and west coast cities. The game wasn't available on the app because it was on ESPNU, not OTA. Anyways I've never seen an app that had that capability before and would like to know what it is. It makes the NFL Ticket obsolete. |

Not sure about the Castillo, but you can ..... Combine an IPTV Service provider https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/best-iptv ... criptions/ ($10/mo to 50/yr, single connection.) with an iOS or Android client such as PerfectIPTV ($20 lifetime) Most options have short, no or low cost trials so you can sample several. Be aware that these services can take 24 to 48 hours to activate, so plan ahead of your favored events. Providers sometimes get shut down, so use caution with yearly contracts. During the NFL playoff season, I will typically set up at least one shadow account for one month (about $10). The provider I use offers 167 ABC, 167-CBS, 176-Fox, 194- NBC affiliates along with all the sports channels including ESPN U. It also provides foreign channels so you can watch events from Scottish Futbol (go Hearts!) to Albanian RTV Fontana (music videos, but don't expect any Dua Lipa). I also get access to thousands of Video-on-Demand TV Series and Movies. No VPN required, but I use one for anonymity. I use an iPAD mini and cast content to my TV. I use that iPad with a cloud backup service so that I can back it up to the cloud and reset it periodically or before taking it through customs. I use this iPAD exclusively for hobby and related content. Nothing is associated with my real identity or even CRT handle. |

Get a VSee Box V3 Plus is the best one and the one I sell for 275.00 + Shipping You can buy them on Amazon but they are a bit more. They have an extra app on them called Heat Live Ultra that I really like and is only available on this version. The Heat Live Ultra app only works in the United States so I have to use IPVanish to change my IP address and it works in Costa Rica. You do need 1 unit for each TV if you do not want to move it. Other than that any Internet better than 25Mbps works just fine with the units. You can get rid of your Cable TV or satellite bill but you will still need internet service for them to work. The content you get would easily cost you over 400.00 per month as you get all the sports, movies, PPV, etc. There is another app you can add called Flixvison that will give you more streaming options along with Adult content that you never have a recurring bill for. Even if you purchase one elsewhere, I am happy to share what I know about these boxes. |

I bought a VSee box from Ilv4play in March as I was paying $82.99 a month for Youtube TV and many other additional monthly subscriptions such a Paramount Plus, Hulu and Peacock. I have cancelled all of the 3 as these programs and shows are all available on the VSee box and the only subscription I need now is Netflix. I plan on buying another box here soon for my 2nd TV. Best Purchase I have made in awhile ... Thanks again 4Play ! |
