Hi all I have called the Castillo hotel a few times but no one seems to be picking up. I was thinking of staying there mostly due to the all inclusive. is this a regular hotel? I see I can just rent a room on the website but just strange no one picks up |

Castillo is a real hotel, they normally communicate through email. Also when you call them, do you use WhatsApp? I had try to call Costa Rica on the regular line from the state. It didn’t work Don’t know why. |

It is a different mentality down there. Down there things are done when they want and how they want. And if booking an appointment with one of the chicas be prepared for her to arrive up to 2 hours late. Give yourself ample time. I often just tell them a general time to arrive and I never expect punctuality. To me it is less stressful that way. I will tell her to come anytime after 2pm. I completely expect her to be way late and if she is only a little late it is a pleasant surprise |

Thanks. I used my regular phone. I will try what's app and see if that works. now I know that time is a suggestion not actual time |

Try calling at different times throughout the day as inconvenient as it seems if you must talk to someone. Darren usually there at the front desk regularly. With email they always have been quick with me. However BEWARE the older uglier phatter hos hanging in the bar, they will try to hustle you.

Darren usually responds to emails within 24 hours and he usually starts working after 2PM weekdays. |
