Heard this one a while back: The owners were opening something in Jaco, a high end place, trying to restore the glory of the old Del Rey in San Jose. Any truth to that? And BTW, are they even still open in San Jose? |

They are open in San Jose but if you look through the past threads on this forum you will see it isn't the same place. They are trying for the regular tourist market. No unescorted women are allowed to enter. For this reason I would highly doubt if their current ownership is going to open a party hotel / bar in Jaco. They did have a hotel in Jaco a few years back, Canciones del Mar, and they sold it. It is now Hotel Jaco, one of the nicer places to stay in Jaco. |
