I have a friend who will be staying in Quepos and wants to visit the Cocal for one night and check it out. He may end up sleeping on my couch at the Vista Mar but I don't want to let him use my bed if he gets the urge with one of the many ticas he will meet at the Cocal.

Does anyone know of an hourly motel near the Cocal that he could book/use for the deed? He's on a budget so I'm sure he won't want to spend the money for a regular hotel nearby.

Do not fret. There are quite a few and the girls know them. They are very cheap for the hour or so but I cannot remember what I had paid last. My buddy and I have gone to a few different ones and they are all pretty basic - but work. I know stay at the Del Mar as well. Just so much easier than the other options.
