Awhile back there was a post about everyones favorite rooms at the Presidente. (Cant find it now) Returning for 7th trip this May. Any good feedback on room 802 ?....... Have stayed in 412 and 522, my favorites... nice and quiet facing away from street... 618 seemed a little cramped with 2 beds and small bano, and studio 619 is a great room with good view. No comment on the soon to be extinct old section.

802 is my favorite room in the place, right off the elevator, two rooms small sitting room TV & Table decent sized bedroom, king bed, big bathroom and room for two in the shower. There is also a small outside couryard just FOR YOU outside the outside room. Not much room there but I open the door and get some fresh air.

It also is on the opposite side of the street noise so i sleep soundly there.

Internet connection strong as well... I better shut up or I might never get it again.

Rooms 801 and 802 for me. I will say 802 isn't as noisy, but I really like the balcony in 801.

So do you guys think that paying extra for a Junior Suiete instead of a standard is worth it?

Frankly my only curiosity is if the bathrooms improve in a Suite instead of a standard.

I don't mind paying the extra if I am going to be there for over 3 or 4 days. I like the extra room and the ability to sit out on the balcony.

Was in 801 last Nov. I also read reviews of the rooms and 801 seemed to be a favorite. Big room, sofa, table and 2 chairs, desk and chair, TV, fridge, in-room safe, good size bathroom and large shower stall. Also liked the balcony .. King size bed and 2 night stands. Appreciated the size of the room, but will try a smaller less expensive room my next trip. Bed did bounce a few times :D :D

With the CRT discount, the room was approx $80 us per night. Now that I have made the 1st trip - and I really liked the room and the Presidente - I will try the standard room the next trip and use the extra money to fill the room with local "flora and fauna". Didn't someone say they were the Columbian twins

I concur--801 is a great room if you want a junior suite. 802 is a good standard double with King size bed and BONUS a fridge (ThanksDG).
Perhaps the best standard room is 701 which also has a balcony.803 is a corner junior suite thats quite large but no outside window (very quiet) and also right next to jacuzzi patio.
